Your online application

Please register in our translator portal and upload the following documents:

  • Complete résumé
  • Proof of qualifications (university certificates and letters of employment)
  • References or contact details for obtaining references

Top tip: extracts from previous translations you have done are very helpful so that we can familiarize ourselves with your style.

Preliminary elimination process

After carefully scrutinizing your application documents under consideration of our current and potential service provider needs, we will contact you. So please ensure that your contact details are up-to-date!

One-to-one interview

Congratulations – you’ve made it through to the next stage! Now that we know your qualifications and employment history, we’d like to get to know you as a person. The one-to-one interview is usually carried out over Skype, and sometimes also over Sococo, our online office. Please ensure that you have a headset and webcam available.

Secondary elimination process

After the one-to-one interview the secondary elimination process takes place, after which you will either receive a written rejection or be invited to the next stage.

Service agreement

We will now send you our service agreement, which we ask you to sign and return to us. This contains non-disclosure clauses as well as confirmation that you are familiar with the requirements of international standard ISO 17100:2015 and that you work in accordance with them.

Test project

Once the service agreement has been signed, we can assign your first project to you. The first translation and revision delivered by new service providers is checked particularly carefully.

Approval process

Once all the steps have been completed successfully we would be delighted to welcome you as a MEINRAD.cc service provider, and above all we look forward to a successful working partnership!
